HugHug, a breast-feeding chair, was developed by a team of working mothers in Paramount Bed ('Tsubaki Project'). The Tsubaki Project serves to propose new product developments for the obstetrics department from the perspective of mothers, from pregnancy to childbirth.

ARM REST TO SUPPORT BABY'S WEIGHT

• The arm rest supports the baby's weight and reduces the burden on the mother's wrist. The short length is designed to prevent the mother's elbow or the baby's head from hitting the arm rest.

SEAT CUSHION DESIGNED TO REDUCE PAIN IN THE PERINEAL REGION

• The seat cushion is designed with a hollow in the center to reduce any pain in the perineal region, which provides comfort even when the chair is used while eating or resting.

FOOTREST AND BACK CUSHION FOR A COMFORTABLE BREASTFEEDING POSTURE

• Placing the feet on the footrest helps to prevent hunching, which aids the mother in assuming a more stable posture. The back rest cushion supports her back, thus providing more comfort when the breastfeeding cushion is removed.

EASY-TO-USE BREASTFEEDING CUSHION, EVEN FOR FIRST TIME USERS

• The breastfeeding cushion can be placed on the back rest of the chair to be used as a normal cushion. This cushion can be removed during breastfeeding and placed on the mother's body between her arms and the arm rests of the chair to reduce the load on her arms, which reduces fatigue.
